Our Models:

Small and light Guarneri models only.

Our Wood:

Specially selected and aged for many years, black ebony with few pores or dark rosewood with few pores. European boxwood with a beautiful grain, traditionally stained – dark, auburn color.

Screws:

Hill style screws are of aluminium in either black or silver finish. Titanium Hill or standard style screws are also available.

Bracket Support:

Our supports are made of natural cork and are very cleanly worked.

Surface Treatment:

Standard is a polished gloss finish. Upon request, matt-finished or, for a 15% surcharge, finely sanded and oiled.

About

Our company was established more tan 120 years ago and our fourth generation is currently turning pegs. In 1884 our founder, Franz Lorenz (1859-1944), started turning pegs with very simple tools in Ursprung, Czechoslovakia. His son, Josef Lorenz (1885-1975), later took over the workshop and continue reading...
